Locations

Dorms
Slightly austere but functional bedrooms. Each housing five to six Participants, these rooms contain 1 bed, nightstand, and small foot trunk per person. The nightstand includes a small personal lamp for reading if the main overhead lights are off, as well as a softbound notebook and three pens (in black, blue, and red ink! Fancy!) The trunk includes one (1) alternate outfit or change of clothes belonging to its assigned Participant, as well as one generic outfit consisting of a comfortably-fitting, if slightly loose, jumpsuit in medical green. Enjoy!
Each room also has one attached bathroom including one toilet, sink, and shower, and a small mirror and cabinet containing enough oral hygiene products for everyone in the dorm. Don’t want to have to share a toothbrush, after all. The bathroom door locks, of course, for privacy purposes.
The dorm room itself requires the electronic ID of someone assigned there to get in. Just wave the ID near the handle, and it will briefly unlock.
Common Room
A comfortable sitting room near the dorms; contains a few scattered sets of comfy chairs and tables, as well as lone chairs and giant bean-bags for those who’d prefer to lounge (relatively) alone. There’s a small shelf of a few off-brand board and card games, and manuals for a tabletop game called Trailseeker 3.5. Including an adventure module titled “Tomb of the Fatal Death”.
Media Room
Actually a pretty nice home theater setup? A nice big screen and comfy chairs for everyone. The available selection of movies is kind of heavily weighted in the “scientific documentary” direction, but if you look hard enough you’ll find some variety. Also for some reason a complete box set of the Teletubbies?
Computer Lab
A setup of about a dozen computers or so? There’s no outside connectivity at all, sorry. In fact, these computers might not even be capable of it, unlike the technology in the Media Room, these are pretty old school, like almost “Apple II” old school, it’s almost surprising the monitors are in color. They’ve got word processors, and a few basic games of the vaguely educational flavor. Enjoy playing Mavis Beacon, Dr. Quandry, and Oregon Tr- wait, no, sorry. Looks like you’ve died of dysentery. Better luck next time.
Library
This place looks to have roughly all the books ever. All of them. Or at least all the non-fiction, but there’s a smattering of various flavors of fiction. There are a few reading tables with lamps available, and a front desk with a ledger and sign politely asking you to sign out any books you take with you. Organization is important!
Arts and Crafts
A room for all your creative outlets. Contains a set of easels for painting, and large tables for more general crafts. And shelves upon shelves of every kind of crafting supply you can imagine. There’s also a selection of one-size-fits-most smocks and a sink for washing up after!
Dining Hall
A cafeteria style dining hall. Hot food is available at 7:30 am, 12pm, and 5pm every day, with the menu changing daily. There’s also a small table containing hot water for tea or instant coffee, and large bins of various cold cereals and milk available 24/7. There’s also a few vending machines at the back of the room containing snacks and drinks, which can be accessed with your electronic IDs.
Kitchen
Missed mealtime? Don’t worry, the kitchen’s always available if you want to cook for yourself. Includes all kinds of fresh and non-perishable ingredients, though oddly enough none of them ever seem to quite match anything that would be needed to produce the hot meals provided in the main dining area. Includes everything you’d need to cook and all kinds of high-quality kitchen utensils, as well as a sink, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. At the back is a large, walk-in freezer, which locks from the outside.
Bathrooms
A set of communal toilets in case your roommates are bad at sharing. No showers in here, though, sorry. One room has urinals, the other doesn’t. Fortunately they both have sinks.
Greenhouse
This place is sunny and brightly lit no matter what time of day you come here. There’s all kinds of flowering plants, and a few fruit-bearing trees or berry-producing shrubs and vines. All the plants are carefully labeled with small signs in the dirt, including the poisonous ones. A small shed contains gardening supplies and fertilizers.
Supply Closet
Cleaning supplies and first-aid kits! My goodness, what a lot of bleach.
Security
A small room covered in wall to wall monitors showing everywhere in the Facility you could look without reasonably expecting naked people. Penny can usually be found here if she's not anywhere else in the Facility. Remember to knock! The door is still locked when Penny is absent.
???? Room
Some kind of disused junk room? Dark, poorly lit, and sort of dusty, this place seems to be a repository for a lot of random junk under tarps. If you can see them past the mannequins. Did we mention the mannequins? There’s a lot of them. All facing the door, and not visible until you click on the (again, still very dim) lights. Have fun with that.
