OOC Rules

1. BE RESPECTFUL. Don’t be a dick to your fellow players. This includes treating serious topics respectfully, and tagging anything that might be particularly upsetting in your subject lines.
   
2. DON’T METAGAME. Keep IC and OOC separate, and don’t fourth wall anyone without explicit permission from the player in question.
   
3. BE ACTIVE. This is only a mock week, but it’s more fun for everyone if you actually post. (But also if you can’t, don’t sweat it, this is only a mock week. We can only ask that you try.)
   
4. LOOSE LIPS SINK boats. Got a role like victim, culprit, or mastermind? Keep that shit on lockdown until it’s time to do the in-character reveal. It’s more fun that way. Remember, people screaming for your blood over Plurk and Discord is how RPers say “I love you.” We also ask that any speculation on the trial and investigation be kept to private discussions until after endgame, to help preserve IC discussion and debate.
   
5. COMMUNICATE. If you’re having any kind of issue, contact the mods. We’ll do our best to keep abreast of what’s going on IC and OOC, but there’s only one of us, we can’t do anything if we’re not aware of the issue.
   
6. HAVE FUN AND BE YOURSELF! It’s the first step to any good murder.

IC Rules
These will be posted in the Common Room on a large electronic message board, as well as available on Participants’ electronic IDs.

1. Participants will remain within the Facility until the experiment has been concluded. Their needs will be provided for during their stay here.
   
2. Participants may explore the Facility as they wish
   
3. Destruction or damage to Facility property is forbidden, and will be punished at the staff’s discretion.
   
4. Participation in Team Exercises is not required but highly encouraged. It’s in you and your team’s best interest to participate.
   
5. Quiet hours are to be maintained between 11pm and 7am, please be courteous to your fellow Participants and get plenty of rest!
   
6. Participants may not harm Facility staff; doing so will result in severe punishment.
   
7. If any Participant wishes to conclude the experiment early, they may do so by terminating another Participant and evading detection by their remaining peers.
   
8. The Researcher may add further rules as necessary.
   
9. Breaking into locked areas is strictly forbidden.
   
10. Make all possible efforts to control or ameliorate your organic stupidities, for your own safety and continued survival.
